Uptown meets Downtown.

Bolkar Tower project is implemented in the ‘new’ city center where there is a multi-storey housing stock in the province. Contrary to the “eclectic-decorative” façade design understanding of the built environment in the region, it has been designed by taking into account the data of the “location” and geography.
The building has been handled with a holistic approach by transferring the façade openings of the residential types planned in line with the requirement program “from inside” to “outside”.
In the planimetric plane, the facade frame of the residential block, which consists of symmetrical 4 + 1 apartment types, has been altered by decreasing or increasing it on different floors.
Wooden panels added to the modular main facade system, as a secondary wall, protect the residences on the west facade from sunlight and provide alternative use opportunities for residents
