Introduction

The ultimate high-performance submarine by U-Boat Worx. Visualization by Officina Armare.

When creating the renders, our mission was to channel the genius of its design and unrivalled performance to the visuals. The visualization works embodied the spirit and all the technicalities of the SuperSub which is the most hydrodynamic sub on the market featuring a best-in class propulsion system.

Performance

The Super Sub delivers an unprecedented speed up to 10 knots underwater. That’s 3-4 knots faster than the top cruising speed of a bottlenose dolphin, and 7 knots faster than the average submersible. Glide behind a bale of sea turtles. Cruise alongside a shiver of sharks. Dive and turn with a pod of dolphins or swoop through the undercurrent of a powerful barracuda. The Super Sub is more than a ticket to an underwater theatre, it’s a backstage VIP pass that immerses guests in the heart of the action.

Philosophy

To experience the underwater world in the optimal way, one of U-Boat Worx’ design priorities has always been the clearest view. To ensure this, our remarkably clear fully acrylic pressure hull has been positioned at the front of the submersible, providing an unobstructed view in every direction, unimpeded by ballast tanks, batteries and other components.

Innovation

The innovative Hydrofoils on the back of the submarine allow the sub to direct the flow of the thrust in a more effective way. Making it possible to make sharp turns and banks in the Super Sub.

Safety

Safety is also on U-Boat Worx’s mind. The cockpit has an automatic maximum-depth reminder to prevent the riders from having too much fun and sinking deep into the seabed with no chance of returning to the surface. The feature will lift the sub until it reaches the maximum depth.

Speaking of the lowest level the submarine could dive, Super Sub also has an auto-depth feature that allows the watercraft to hold its current depth steady and at bay. This function forms part of one of the other intelligent pilot assistance features that U-Boat Worx has in store for the riders.
